Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their shopping experience
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure an attractive and organised store appearance
- Handle customer enquiries via phone and in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage transactions efficiently using the point-of-sale system, including basic maths calculations
- Organise stock levels, restock shelves, and assist with inventory management
- Support the team in implementing promotional campaigns and seasonal displays
- Assist in maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment at all times
- Manage time effectively to prioritise tasks during busy periods
Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Organised with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock counts
- Experience or knowledge of merchandising principles is desirable but not essential
- Good phone etiquette and professional demeanour when interacting with customers over the phone or face-to-face
- Time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities effectively
