A specialist secondary SEN school in the Chessington area is seeking an ambitious and passionate Science Teacher to join their team from September.
The school supports students with a range of additional learning needs and prides itself on delivering engaging, personalised learning programmes that help pupils achieve both academic and personal success.
This role will involve teaching Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, including GCSE pathways, whilst adapting lessons to meet individual needs and learning styles.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Prepare students for GCSE Science qualifications.
- Differentiate lessons to ensure all learners can access the curriculum.
- Monitor and assess progress effectively.
- Work closely with support staff and external professionals.
- Contribute to annual reviews and EHCP outcomes.
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Science teaching experience at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
- Experience supporting students with SEND.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
