We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining smooth office operations, providing administrative support, and ensuring effective communication across departments and sites. Responsibilities
- Manage daily administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and document management
- Answer phone calls professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Coordinate appointments, meetings, and schedules using organisational tools
- Assist compliance manger with audits and internal compliance process /procedures.
- Maintain accurate training records and control over the training matrix.
- IT Skills essential - all Microsoft applications and familiar with in-house management support system.
- Assist head-office with invoicing, issuing purchase orders.
- Assist with weekly timesheets for payroll submission.
- Supporting engineers and team members with administrative needs.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence efficiently
- Ensure the office environment remains tidy and organised at all times
Requirements
- Proven office experience with strong organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets)
- Experience with in-house MSS or similar is desirable
- Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for data entry tasks
- Strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Administrative experience including clerical duties and document management is preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a team
- Flexible hours and days can be considered.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.80 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 24 per week
