The Opportunity:

- English Graduate Teaching Assistant
- Must hold a 2:2 or above Hons degree
- Secondary School Northampton, Northamptonshire
- Monday to Friday - Full-Time
- £500 - £530 per week
- Ideally suited for aspiring teachers
The successful graduate must:
- A graduate with a degree in English or a related subject (2:2 or higher)
- Strong communication skills,with the ability to engage and inspire young people.
- A keen interest in pursuing a career in teaching or education.
- Experience working with young people, either in a volunteer or professional capacity, is desirable but not essential.
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude toward learning and teaching.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key responsibilities for your role:
- Support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons in English language and literature.
- Work with students in small groups or on a one-to-one basis to reinforce learning and improve understanding of English concepts.
- Assist with classroom management, helping to create a productive, positive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
- Help with preparing teaching materials and resources.
- Provide additional support for students with special educational needs (SEN), as required.
- Encourage confidence, creativity, and a love of learning in students.
