Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Football Coach to join our sports programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing players' skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive sporting environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to inspire young athletes and contribute to their personal and athletic development through organised training sessions and competitive matches. We are developing a competitive atmosphere to push players to the next level this includes coaching.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and deliver engaging football training sessions tailored to various age groups and skill levels
- Develop customised training programmes to improve technical abilities, tactical understanding, and physical fitness
- Motivate players to achieve their personal best whilst emphasising sportsmanship and teamwork
- Monitor individual progress and provide constructive feedback to players and parents where appropriate
- Organise team selections, fixtures, and participation in local competitions or tournaments
- Ensure all training activities adhere to safety standards and promote a positive, inclusive environment
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to coordinate programmes and events
Requirements
- Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly football, with a strong understanding of game tactics and player development
- Excellent teaching skills with the ability to communicate effectively with players of diverse ages and backgrounds
- Passion for youth development and fostering a love for sport through engaging coaching methods
- Ability to motivate teams, promote teamwork, and instil discipline in a supportive manner
- Relevant coaching certifications or qualifications are desirable but not essential; willingness to undertake necessary training is expected
- Organisational skills to manage training schedules, equipment, and programme logistics effectively

Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
