Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing excellent service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, friendly and a passion for delivering outstanding service. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. All positions are paid and offer opportunities for growth within the hospitality sector. Must be 18 years or older
Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and food to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments with basic maths skills
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area according to food safety standards
- Ensure all beverages are prepared and served in line with company policies and legal requirements
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote special offers or events
- Manage multiple tasks effectively during busy periods, demonstrating good time management
- Assist with stock replenishment and report any shortages or issues to management
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including food safety procedures
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, particularly in serving or bar roles, is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude towards guests
- Basic maths proficiency for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high standards of customer service
