Become a Support Worker in Abingdon! Flexible Hours & Comprehensive Training Available

You’ll be part of a caring team in a small, welcoming supported living home in Abingdon. We currently have relief positions available, and you’ll need a UK manual driving license to accompany our young men on outings.

Shifts Available:

7 AM 3 PM
3 PM 10 PM
Sleep-in: 9:30 PM 7 AM
Waking night: 9:30 PM 7 AM

As a Relief Worker, you'll fill shifts to support our team during times of absence, ensuring the needs of both our residents and your own work-life balance are met. Rotas are usually planned one month in advance, with additional opportunities available as needed.

Ben: Full of energy and humor, Ben loves swimming, train rides, and shopping. He’s always looking for someone to share in his adventures!

About you

If you are the right person for the role, if you are kind, caring, active and eager to make a difference to peoples lives, we will provide you with the training you need. We sometimes find people with an interest in psychology do well in this role, or perhaps you're considering a specialist career supporting autistic people and people with learning disabilities.

You will need a manual driving licence (the men have their own cars). You'll be a ‘people person’, creative, flexible and have bucket loads of initiative and great resilience.

If you have little or no previous experience in care, we still want to hear from you! we will provide you with an extensive care training package whilst you are getting to know and work with these amazing young men. If you care about having a positive impact on the people you work with, if you think you can be part of a team who will work together to create a warm, cosy and fulfilling home environment for Ben, Joe and Gary* we want to hear from you today!.
