Temporary Banksman needed in DN21!
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Banksman to support site operations on a temporary basis, with work expected to start at the end of June / beginning of July.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the flow of vehicles on site
- Directing vehicles to the correct loading/unloading locations
- Inspecting trailers prior to loading
- Issuing clear “start” and “stop” instructions to the control room
Requirements:
- Previous Banksman experience is essential
- A recognised Banksman qualification/certification is highly desirable (expired certificates will still be considered)
- Any mechanical experience (e.g. gearboxes, motors, conveyors) would be advantageous
Working Hours/Pay:
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am – finish (typically no later than 6:00pm)
- If shifts are available on Saturdays : 7:00am – finish (typically no later than 1:00pm)
- £12.71 per hour
