Kitchen Assistant
Full-time 32hrs per week - Shifts between 7am-7pm.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established Care Home as part of their catering team. You will be assisting to develop a high-quality catering service to approximately 60 residents, guests and visitors of this Care Home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation, cooking and attractive presentation of all meals
- Prepare simple meals i.e., vegetables, salad, bread and soft drinks for service
- Gain regular feedback on the food service
- Prepare and deliver beverage/food trolleys as required by the chef
- Ensure the smooth transfer of supplies, goods and equipment between storage and work areas
- Ensure the safe operation of all kitchen equipment
