Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across a school environment.The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a proactive attitude, and previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, washrooms, corridors, and communal areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are met
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces regularly to uphold health and safety protocols
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely in accordance with health and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management
- Follow organisational procedures for security and confidentiality when working within client premises
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliability and punctuality are essential qualities for this role
