Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista, to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Serve customers efficiently while maintaining friendly and professional interactions.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas in compliance with food safety standards.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout shifts.
- Follow food safety regulations diligently to uphold hygiene standards at all times.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimise wait times and optimise customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene.
- Previous barista experience is essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy.
- Good basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently during peak hours.
