Summary
We are seeking a dedicated School Cleaner to join our team in <LOCATION>. This role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of educational facilities, supporting our mission to provide a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff. Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in school premises including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
- Ensure all areas meet health and safety standards.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the school.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
- Follow company procedures and health guidelines.
- Support team members in achieving daily cleaning targets.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial or janitorial cleaning.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Previous experience working in a school environment is preferred but not essential.

Monday to Friday 3:30pm to 5:30pm Leave and holidays are fixed to school holidays. During half term and end of term periods, staff work a full day to bank hours for additional time off during school holidays. You may be expected to work an additional hour as cover if another member of staff is absent due to illness.
Must have or be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
