Trainee Sales Consultant
We are seeking a Trainee Sales Consultant to support our sales activities while developing valuable commercial and customer-facing experience. The successful candidate will assist with customer engagement, lead generation, sales presentations, and administrative tasks, contributing to business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective and existing customers through various communication channels.
- Assist with generating and qualifying sales leads.
- Support the sales process by providing accurate information regarding products and services.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Maintain accurate records within company systems and databases.
- Follow up on customer enquiries and sales opportunities in a timely manner.
- Assist with sales presentations, promotions, and customer acquisition activities.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
- Follow established processes, quality standards, and company policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
- Assist with additional sales and administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications Required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- Confidence when interacting with customers and prospective clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Previous internship, placement year, part-time work, or extracurricular experience in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer engagement techniques.
