Job Description:
We are seeking a responsible and energetic Lunchtime Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you’ll ensure that lunchtime runs smoothly and provide cover for staff during lunch breaks. Your warm and friendly approach will support a positive mealtime experience and foster a joyful play environment for our children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up tables for lunchtime, ensuring a clean, inviting space for children to enjoy their meals.
- Serve food in a friendly, hygienic manner, encouraging healthy eating habits.
- Clean up tables, floors, and dishes after lunchtime, maintaining our high standards of cleanliness.
- Cover team members’ breaks by engaging with children during their indoor playtime, encouraging creativity and positive interactions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young children (preferred but not essential).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Warm, approachable, and able to engage young children in safe, fun play.
- A team player with strong communication skills.
- Clear enhanced DBS (Can be applied for in-post)
- Food Hygiene Certification (Can we obtained in-post)
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 11:30am – 2 pm
