About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Internal Cleaner to join our team, maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of a high-quality residential estate. The successful candidate will take pride in delivering consistently high standards of cleanliness and ensuring communal areas remain safe, clean, and welcoming for residents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all internal communal areas, including entrance lobbies, corridors, stairwells, lifts, and reception areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces.
- Clean internal windows, glass panels, mirrors, and doors where required.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with site procedures.
- Clean and sanitise touch points, handrails, lift interiors, and other high-traffic areas.
- Replenish consumables such as hand soap, toilet paper, and paper towels where applicable.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, hazards, or health and safety concerns to management.
- Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored securely.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including COSHH regulations.
- Work independently to complete daily cleaning schedules while maintaining high standards.
- Assist with periodic deep cleaning tasks as required.
Person Specification
Essential:
- Previous cleaning experience, preferably within residential or commercial properties.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Good communication skills.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of COSHH and safe use of cleaning chemicals.
- Experience working within residential developments or apartment buildings.

- Monday to Friday working hours (8:00am – 4:00pm).
