Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated self-employed care professional for a live in placement to provide personalised care and support to an older lady in her own home. The position requires a caring attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to individual care requirements. The ideal candidate will have a people first approach with a love and enthusiasm for what they do and helping others. Day to day tasks will include personal care, companionship, cooking, cleaning and providing high quality care for your client. A good understanding of infection prevention control along with sound practice is required. Clear spoken English is important as is the willingness and ability to support with planning and cooking traditional 'meat and two veg' meals. You will need to be self motivated and have the ability to motivate your client to engage in day to day activities.
Working patterns to be agreed (i.e. number of days / weeks on / off). A 2 hour break each day is included and should be taken at a time which has been pre arranged with the client.
This placement is based in Barnstaple.

Pay: £900.00 per week
