- Flexible, ad hoc work covering staff holidays, absences and special events
The role of Temporary Receptionist:
- Greeting visitors in a warm and professional manner
- Providing refreshments when required
- Answering incoming calls and transferring or taking messages
- Monitoring and responding to emails
- Carrying out light administrative tasks
- Keeping the reception and waiting area clean, tidy and well-presented
- Supporting with general office and facilities duties
The ideal Temporary Receptionist:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A professional and confident telephone manner
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- A well-presented, approachable individual (office attire expected for client bookings)
No previous reception or administrative experience required — backgrounds in retail, hospitality, customer service, call centres, or recent school leavers and graduates are all welcome.
Covering a range of clients across the Gatwick/Crawley area on a flexible, ad hoc basis.
