Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher with a strong understanding of safeguarding practices to join our educational team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering engaging learning experiences while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. It would be beneficial to have experience in PE. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons that promote active learning and engagement.
- Monitor and support students’ behaviour, ensuring a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Implement safeguarding policies diligently, recognising and responding appropriately to any concerns related to student welfare.
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support the holistic development of children.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and safeguarding concerns as required.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to enhance teaching practices and safeguarding knowledge.
- Promote a nurturing atmosphere that encourages children’s independence, confidence, and social skills.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with children and adults alike.
- Organised, proactive, and committed to creating a safe learning environment.
- Enthusiastic about supporting children's development through creative and engaging teaching methods. Pay: From £20.00 per hour
