We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered General Nurse to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care, including monitoring vital signs, assisting with mobility, and supporting daily activities
- Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely, adhering to established protocols
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalised care plans
- Educate patients and their families on health management, medication use, and post-discharge care
- Ensure infection control standards are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies with professionalism and composure
- Support the organisation’s policies on health and safety, including hygiene practices and confidentiality
Requirements
- Valid registration as a General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or equivalent regulatory body
- Proven experience in patient care within a hospital or community setting is desirable
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in medication administration following prescribed protocols
- Excellent communication skills, demonstrating empathy and active listening skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work shifts as required; commitment to delivering consistent patient-centred care
- Relevant qualifications in nursing recognised within the UK healthcare system
