Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Sales and Customer Service Advisor to join our small dynamic team.
This role involves communicating with customers, interpreting their requirements and making the sale. It is also providing the essential administrative support to ensure the smooth processing of the order to ensure its delivered to the customer on time.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, exceptional verbal communication, strong computer literacy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
This is a paid position suitable for individuals with prior sales, customer service and administrative experience who are eager to contribute growing online company. Monthly bonuses available.
Duties
- Efficiently answering incoming and making outgoing telephone calls to customers and suppliers
- Understanding customers needs and suggesting suitable products
- Processing orders via the phone, email and website
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing enquiries promptly and professionally
- Liaise with colleagues and suppliers to ensure seamless communication to customers
- Manage and maintain accurate records using our CRM, Microsoft Excel and Xero accounting software
- Oversee sales administration processes and update customer information within CRM software
- Handle email correspondence ensuring timely and professional responses
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- Support IT-related tasks such as troubleshooting basic computer issues and maintaining office equipment
- Assist with general administrative duties including data entry and other document management
- Prepare and edit documents using Microsoft Word and a PDF editor
Experience
- Proven administrative experience in a professional environment is essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required
- Experience with Xero or similar accounting software is desirable
- Familiarity with CRM software for sales and customer relationship management is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated computer literacy and IT skills to support daily operations
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with good time management skills
