Imagine being the financial heartbeat behind a fast-paced, multi-site QSR operation. As QSR Management Accountant (3-Month Fixed-Term Contract), you'll play a key role in ensuring our financial reporting is accurate, insightful and supports confident decision-making across the business.
Working closely with the Head of Operational Finance and operational leaders, you'll help deliver timely management accounts, analyse performance, identify opportunities and provide the financial insight needed to drive commercial success. From month-end reporting and balance sheet reconciliations to forecasting and business partnering, you'll be at the centre of how we understand and improve performance.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing business, making an immediate impact during a busy period. You'll work collaboratively with finance and operational teams, ensuring robust financial controls are maintained while continuously looking for ways to improve processes and reporting.
If you enjoy turning numbers into meaningful insights, thrive in a fast-moving environment and take pride in delivering high-quality financial information, we'd love to hear from you.
No two days are quite the same, but here's a flavour of what you'll be involved in:
- Own the numbers – Prepare and review monthly management accounts, post journals and ensure financial results are accurate, complete and delivered on time.
- Keep controls strong – Complete and review balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances and maintain robust financial controls across key accounts.
- Turn data into insight – Produce management information packs, analyse performance against budget and forecast, and provide meaningful commentary to support commercial decision-making.
- Track business performance – Deliver weekly flash reports and KPI summaries, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities across the business.
- Support key finance activities – Assist with audit requirements, prepare VAT returns and maintain fixed asset records to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Partner with the business – Work closely with operational and finance teams, building strong relationships and ensuring consistency, accuracy and compliance in financial reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement – Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve reporting and strengthen financial controls to support a high-performing finance function.
This is a hybrid role, requiring you to be based at our Watford Head Office 3–4 days per week.

- A solid understanding of management accounting principles, including P&L reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, financial controls and variance analysis.
- Strong Excel and financial systems skills, with experience using finance platforms such as Sage, Dynamics, Sun Systems or similar.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to analyse data, identify trends and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, enabling you to manage deadlines, prioritise effectively and explain financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance colleagues.
