Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Programme Coordinator to oversee and facilitate various educational and community programmes. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organising, and coordinating activities to ensure the smooth delivery of services. The Programme Coordinator will work closely with staff, participants, and external partners to achieve programme objectives effectively.
Responsibilities
Programme Coordination
· Organisation of all London programmes that work with ex-offenders and those “At Risk” of going to prison. This includes our programmes in North West (HMP Forest Bank), Midlands (HMP Fosse Way), London - At Risk and HMP Thameside, South West – At Risk and HMP Bristol
· Co-ordination of the case workers, employability, support workers on a weekly basis including scheduling, daily activities and assessments
· Conducting weekly action plan meetings & risk assessments on the young men in assoc. with Delivery Manager
· Continuously assessing the needs of the young men on the programme and ensuring they have a clear action plan for release and necessary support in place to execute this plan
· Organising and ensuring that each young man receive the following service from Key4Life:
Family meeting pre-release
Meet at the gate on day of release if required
Support through the gate on day of release (Probation, Housing, Benefits)
3way Probation meeting
3way Mentor meeting
Suited & Booted
3day Work Taster
Employment Opportunities
Rural pursuits / health & wellbeing / exercise as necessary
· On the ground support of the young men post release including liaison and meetings with probation, other agencies & companies as well as accompanying & escorting to the above meetings
· Regular communication with the young men on the programme to continue participant engagement and encourage positive results
· Organisation and delivery of monthly support meetings for the young men
· Develop a plan for Alumni with case workers and support Key mentors when required
· Organisation of the Rural Residential
· Updating of Key4Life secure database & online calendar
· Carrying out risk assessments and writing reports
· Ensuring that each young man has an up to date CV and reference letters from Work Tasters
· Responsible for the collection of evaluation and research and devise a research strategy to disseminate and promote K4L impact work
Corporate Development
· Making targeted approaches to new organisations and addressing how Key4Life meets the social value of each company (through Work Tasters, mentor schemes, workshops)
· Supporting young men into employment through relationships with corporate organisations
General Duties

- Develop and implement programme plans in alignment with organisational goals and community needs
- Coordinate scheduling of activities, workshops, and events, ensuring all resources are allocated efficiently
- Liaise with educators, trainers, and external organisations to facilitate programme delivery
- Monitor programme progress and evaluate outcomes to ensure objectives are met
- Manage administrative tasks including record keeping, reporting, and maintaining participant databases
- Provide support and guidance to participants and staff throughout programme activities
- Promote programmes through various channels to maximise engagement and participation
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and relevant regulations
- Assist in the development of new initiatives to expand programme offerings
Experience
- Proven experience in programme coordination or project management within educational or community settings
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in teaching or educational roles is highly desirable
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people
- Proficiency in using office software such as MS Office Suite or equivalent programmes
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
