Role Overview
This will involve a patient focused reception/administrative role within a well-established private hospital with consulting rooms.
It is an exciting opportunity to share your own existing skills with us, or for someone who would like to learn more and to develop their skills and experience across a variety of reception and office related administrative tasks.
You will work within the reception and admin team, Mon - Friday and a Saturday a month, supporting the existing team to deliver a high-quality service to patients and other health care professionals. Though primarily admin, the successful candidate may be required to work in other aspects, where support is needed.
You will be required to follow established procedures but also be able to use your own initiative and take responsibility for yourself and the quality of your own work.
The role will adhere to a flexible working pattern and will include some Saturday clinics, through a rostered system.
Main duties of the role
* Opening/locking up the building
* Dealing with patient face to face making appointments and answering queries.
* Answering phones, scanning, chasing referrals, administration duties of following up on actions regarding pathology and clinical letters etc.
* Referral of website enquiries to appropriate consultants PA
We provide services of a very high quality to patients and the reception/ administration team is an essential part of that work.
Working in a team, alongside other receptionists/administrators and the clinical team you will perform office and reception duties to ensure services run smoothly and effectively.
Experience of General Practice and NHS is preferred but not essential.
Computer skills essential

This job requires you to have DBS check to enable you to properly fulfil the requirements of the job, on appointment.
