Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant who enjoys supporting pupils in KS2? This full-time Year 4 role in Preston is a strong September opportunity for someone proactive, reliable and confident working in a primary classroom.
You’ll be supporting the class teacher with learning, routines and pupil engagement throughout the school day. This role would suit someone who enjoys building positive relationships with pupils and wants a consistent role for the full academic year.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be supporting a Year 4 class with:
- General classroom learning and pupil engagement
- Small-group and individual support
- Classroom routines and positive behaviour
- Literacy, numeracy and wider curriculum activities
- Helping pupils stay focused, confident and motivated
- Working closely with the class teacher and wider school team
You’ll Be a Good Fit If You…
- Have experience as a Teaching Assistant or classroom support assistant
- Are confident supporting pupils in KS2
- Are proactive, organised and reliable
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Are comfortable supporting individuals, groups and the wider class
- Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or are willing to apply for one
- Are willing to complete Humly’s safeguarding and compliance process before placement
