The Role
We are currently looking to expand our team and are seeking experienced and reliable Surfacing Operatives to join us. We have opportunities available for the following roles:
- Paver Driver
- Screwman
- Roller Driver
- Rakehand
You will be working as part of a team delivering surfacing projects to a high standard, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate machinery and equipment relevant to your role (e.g. paver, roller)
- Assist in the laying and finishing of asphalt and other surfacing materials
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines
- Follow all health & safety regulations and site procedures
- Carry out daily checks and basic maintenance on equipment
- Ensure work is completed to a high standard of quality
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar surfacing role (essential)
- Relevant tickets/qualifications (e.g. CPCS/NPORS for machine operators)
- Strong understanding of health & safety practices
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Good work ethic and reliability
- Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)
