Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our residential childrens home. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of residential children’s homes. Role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of quality of care for children, with a level 3 and level 5 in children and young people.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to meet the needs of children.
- Supervise and support staff members, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional development.
- Ensure the safe administration of medication and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care and staff performance.
- Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure holistic care.
- Conduct regular assessments of residents’ needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and compassion within the home.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a residential home.
- Strong knowledge of ofsted.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Proficient in developing care plans that meet individual needs.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Relevant qualifications in health and social care management are essential.
