Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently across multiple locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with prior delivery or warehouse experience who enjoy driving and providing excellent customer service. A valid driver’s licence and strong communication skills are essential to succeed in this position.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans or lorries, across designated routes.
- Deliver goods to multiple customers accurately and on schedule.
- Assist with loading and unloading items, including heavy lifting where necessary.
- Ensure all deliveries are documented correctly and obtain necessary signatures.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, adhering to safety standards at all times.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies during deliveries.
- Report any vehicle issues or delivery discrepancies promptly to management.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within logistics or warehouse environments.
- Valid UK driver’s licence, ideally with a clean driving record.
- Experience with commercial driving and operating various types of delivery vehicles.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling packages or goods.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations is preferred but not essential.
- Physical fitness to handle long periods of driving and manual handling tasks.
- Handle cash payments from customers and ensure correct cash handling at the end of the delivery round.
Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
