Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit individual to join our team as a Driver / Labourer. This role involves collecting and delivering goods efficiently while assisting with various labouring tasks around the site. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience in warehouse operations, and the ability to perform heavy lifting. Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Deliver goods to specified locations in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with loading and unloading items, ensuring proper handling and securement of materials
- Perform manual labour tasks such as lifting, moving, and organising stock or equipment around the warehouse or worksite
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with team members regarding schedules or issues
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns
- Support other operational duties as required to ensure smooth workflow
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a construction enviroment with health and safety requirements being mandatory
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Experience working in warehouse environments or manual labour roles involving heavy lifting
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking
- Good organisational skills to manage deliveries and coordinate tasks efficiently
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong commitment to safety standards
Pay: £25,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
