Lead One of Kent’s Most Ambitious Community Sports Facilities
We are looking for an experienced, commercially minded and community-focused Centre Manager to lead Three Hills Sports Park into its next phase of growth.
This is not a traditional “hands-on duty management” role. We are looking for a leader who can drive performance through structure, people and strategy: someone who can build a high-performing culture while balancing commercial sustainability with meaningful community impact.
Three Hills Sports Park is a multi-functional sports and community facility with a growing programme of sport, events, partnerships and participation initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the site as part of the wider leadership team across The Sports Trust.
The Role
As Centre Manager, you will take ownership of the overall performance of the site, leading through a structured management team including Assistant Centre Managers and Duty Managers.
You will be responsible for:
- Driving commercial performance, participation and revenue growth
- Leading and developing a high-performing management structure
- Ensuring operational consistency across all areas of the facility
- Building strong relationships with clubs, schools and community partners
- Overseeing strategic events and programming
- Managing performance, standards and accountability across teams
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety, safeguarding and compliance
- Providing clear operational and financial reporting to senior leadership
This role requires someone who can think strategically while still maintaining strong operational oversight.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a confident and credible leader who has:
- Experience managing a multi-functional leisure, hospitality or community facility
- Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience
- Experience leading managers and layered teams
- A track record of improving performance, standards and accountability
- Strong understanding of community engagement and partnership working
- Experience overseeing events, programmes and customer experience
- Knowledge of health & safety, safeguarding and compliance requirements
- The ability to balance strategic leadership with operational realities
