Come and join our team
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Tidy Towns Team. You will support the delivery of cleansing and enhancement duties and play an important role in maintaining and improving the visual appearance of public spaces across Carmarthenshire.
Specifically, you will carry out a range of tasks including deep cleansing of public areas, removal of graffiti and fly posters, weed spraying and removal, cleaning highway assets and general maintenance of street furniture. The role involves working both independently and as part of a small team, using a variety of tools, equipment and light vehicles to complete scheduled and reactive work.
It is desirable for applicants to hold a full driving licence and have a passion for improving the local environment. Health and safety will be central to the role, with full training provided. Previous experience using tools or machinery is beneficial but not essential. You will have good communication skills and represent the service in a professional and positive manner at all times.
