Mobile Powered Access Engineer About the Role
As a Mobile Powered Access Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the inspection, service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of powered access equipment including scissor lifts, boom lifts, and telehandlers. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our machines are safe, reliable, and ready for our customers.
Mobile Powered Access Engineer Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on powered access and plant equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
- Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) and ensure equipment meets all safety standards.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Support the wider engineering team and ensure workshop efficiency and safety standards are met.
Mobile Powered Access Engineer About You
- Qualified in Plant Maintenance or Mechanical Engineering (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent).
- Proven experience working with Powered Access equipment.
- Holds valid CAP (Competent Assessed Person) and IPAF certifications.
- Strong understanding of hydraulics, electrics, and diesel engines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Team player with a proactive attitude.
