Referrals and Property Administrator
We are looking for a pro-active, organised, and highly motivated individual to join our diverse organisation.
Safe Haven Sussex CIC is a non-profit community interest company and over two projects, providing accommodation and support for vulnerable adults who have been homeless or vulnerably housed. We have several departments within the organisation, consisting of around 40 staff members and over 160 residents.
The residents within the service are supported by a team of Support Coordinators, with supplementary support from Safe Haven's other departments. All departments are expected to take a harm-reduction approach, supporting individuals with a range of multiple and complex support needs. The Referrals and Property Administrator will be expected to work closely with the Referrals and Assessments Coordinator and the Property department to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the Referrals and Assessments Coordinator and Project Managers to oversee the referrals and assessment process.
- Support the Referrals and Assessments Coordinator with managing referrals into the service, including facilitating pre-assessments and liaising with referrers regarding prospective residents.
- Conduct assessments for individuals referred to the service, ensuring a thorough explanation of the service provided, expectations of residents and that any risks and support required are discussed in a trauma-informed, strength-based manner.
- Support the Property department with administrative tasks, including updating relevant spreadsheets, overseeing and updating the maintenance log.
- Communicate with residents via text system of any property visits and ensure updated information for all residents.
- Review property stock regularly, ordering additional items when needed.
- Arrange and oversee scheduled cleaning visits to the properties.
- Update referrals, occupancy and empty room spreadsheets.
- When required, to manage the office phone, answering phone calls and sharing information with the relevant teams.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.
Schedule: Monday - Friday (9am - 5pm)
