Responsibilities
- Operate a range of machining tools and equipment with precision to produce specified parts and components
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately
- Maintain machinery through routine inspections, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting
- Ensure all products meet quality standards by performing regular quality checks during production
- Keep detailed records of production activities and machine maintenance logs
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets efficiently
- Assist in organising materials and supplies within the workshop or warehouse environment
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations at all times
Experience
- Previous experience working as a Machinist or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred
- Warehouse experience is considered an asset, demonstrating familiarity with logistics and inventory management
- Skills in sewing are advantageous, especially when handling fabric or textile components within the manufacturing process
- Ability to read technical drawings and operate machinery accordingly
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
