Our client based in Biggleswade just off the A1 and close to retail park are looking for a Paint Operative to join their team on a temporary to permeant basis.
This is a great opportunity to learn or continue to learn all aspects of the various roles within the clients Paint shop.
These include:
- Wet painting
- Powder coating
- Shot blasting
Full PPE will be supplied including air assisted respiratory equipment.
We are looking for someone with the following attributes:
- Have knowledge of surface properties and preparation and ideally be able to do your own prep work.
- Be flexible to further develop and enhance skills of wet painting, powder coating and shot blasting processes.
- Have good attention to detail.
- Verbal and written communication skills required.
- Be enthusiastic, reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A Forklift licence would be an advantage.
Hours of work
Monday to Thursday 8am – 4:30pm
Friday 8am – 3pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
