Role overview
This is a great opportunity to work on our Fast Response Parts Team, which is crucial to our customers’ overall experience. We’re looking for the right candidate to help solve problems, drive high standards and help to source parts in order to get our machines in the field up and running as quickly and efficiently as possible.
You’ll work alongside a team of co-ordinators that drive part ordering activities in their assigned area of the country. The team works closely with our Supply Chain and catering part suppliers. They play a key role in coordinating the ordering, tracking and expediting of parts, whilst supporting our operations teams and engineers in the field.
Previous laundry/catering machine or part experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
Key tasks
- Working within a team of coordinators and collaborating with our engineers and Supply Chain
- Processing part orders and ensuring cost effectiveness and timely deliveries
- Problem solving to find the correct information (to avoid part delays and reduce machine downtime)
- Liaising with suppliers to source part information and manuals
- Expediting orders for critical repairs
- Raising quotes with the support of our automated system
- Supporting with admin activities
