Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team in Birmingham. This pivotal role supports our admin operations, helping us deliver top-tier electrical training and apprenticeships. The Office Administrator will be based in Birmingham training centre and play a key part in maintaining our high standards of service.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily administrative tasks including scheduling apprentice groups, processing registers and logging daily apprentice attendnace. c
- Coordinate communication between BET, apprentices, and employers.
- Shedule and Invigilate Apprentice Exams
- Prepare Apprentice enrolment letters, paperwork and induction materials
- Support the organisation of training sessions for absent apprentices or apprentices who have failed exams
- Track Apprentice Progress and Apprentice Reviews updating our Progress Trackers
- Office duties such as copying, binding printing
- Organizing Practical Exams for Apprentices and candidates
- Dealing with Apprentices, employers and customers via email and telephone
Qualifications
- Experience in working in an office based Admin Role
- Business Admin Apprenticeship Qualification would be advantageous not essential
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Previous experience in an educational or training environment is desirable.
Package:
Salary : £26,500 - £28,000 per anum
Hours: 8.00am - 4.30 Mon- Thur , 8.00-4.00pm on Friday with 1/2 Lunch
Permanent Position with 6 month Probation Period
As part of our safer recruitment policy and as we work with young people aged 16+. Successful candidate will need to undertake an Enhanced DBS check prior to employment. Candidates will also need to provide evidence they have the legal right to work in the UK.
