We are recruiting experienced carers to join Amicus Homecare as Senior Home Carers, recognising the value of your skills and experience in delivering high-quality care.
As a Senior Home Carer, your role is not just about completing tasks, but about supporting people to live with dignity, independence, and choice in their own homes.
The people we support have lived full lives, and your role is to provide care that reflects this — promoting independence, respecting their choices, and supporting them to remain themselves.
You will work confidently and independently in the community, delivering compassionate, person-centred care and consistently modelling high standards of care delivery.
This role is suited to carers who are confident working independently and demonstrate consistently high standards of person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality personal care and support
Support medication, meals, and daily routines
Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing
Build positive relationships with individuals and families
Travel between clients’ homes in the local area
Maintain accurate care records and report changes appropriately
Working Hours
Full-time and part-time roles available
Flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends
Split shifts may be required
Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ experience in health or social care
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Ability to work independently and confidently
Strong understanding of person-centred care
Reliable, compassionate, and professional approach
