Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crown & Bridge Manager to oversee the clinical and operational aspects of our dental practice specialising in restorative dentistry. The successful candidate will lead a team of dental professionals, ensuring the delivery of exceptional crown and bridge services. This role requires a strong understanding of CAD design, anatomy, and medical imaging to facilitate precise treatment planning and execution. The Crown & Bridge Manager will be responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care, managing workflow, and supporting continuous professional development within the team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the crown and bridge department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient outcomes.
- Oversee the design and fabrication process using CAD software to create accurate restorations tailored to individual patient needs.
- Collaborate with dental practitioners to interpret clinical data, including medical imaging, to develop detailed treatment plans.
- Supervise the preparation of crowns and bridges, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Maintain comprehensive records of procedures, materials used, and patient information in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and mentorship to dental assistants and junior staff within the department.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a sterile environment at all times.
- Stay updated with advancements in dental technology, CAD techniques, and materials relevant to crown and bridge work.
- Manage inventory levels for materials and equipment specific to restorative procedures.
Experience
- Proven experience in a dental laboratory or clinical setting specialising in crown and bridge work.
- Proficiency in CAD software utilised for designing dental restorations.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy relevant to oral structures.
- Experience interpreting medical imaging such as X-rays or CBCT scans for accurate diagnosis and planning.
- Previous leadership or managerial experience within a dental practice is desirable but not essential.
