A Senior Physiotherapist is an experienced healthcare professional who assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients with physical conditions while also supervising junior staff and helping manage physiotherapy services.
Job Description
Typical responsibilities include:
- Assess and diagnose patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory, or orthopedic conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Perform manual therapy, prescribe therapeutic exercises, and use rehabilitation techniques.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Educate patients and families on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and healthy lifestyles.
- Supervise, mentor, and train junior physiotherapists, assistants, and students.
- Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and service development.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards, safety regulations, and ethical guidelines.
Pay: £3,100.00-£3,800.00 per month
