Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality components. Duties
- Set up CNC machinery according to specifications and production requirements
- Operate CNC machines to produce parts with precision and efficiency
- Monitor machine operation, making adjustments as necessary to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of production data and machine logs
- Collaborate with team members to optimise manufacturing processes
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations during all operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, or machining environments
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic carpentry or joinery skills
- Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, masonry, or electrical systems is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Experience with construction painting or general construction tasks is desirable
- Strong understanding of CNC machinery operation and maintenance
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in manufacturing or engineering are preferred
