Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Tutors to provide personalised academic support to students across a variety of subjects. The successful candidates will assist learners in developing their understanding, confidence, and skills through engaging and tailored tutoring sessions. Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one or group tutoring sessions in designated subjects, adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Assess students’ strengths and areas for improvement, developing customised lesson plans accordingly
- Support students with homework, exam preparation, and study techniques to enhance their academic performance
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and confidence
- Track and record student progress, providing feedback to parents or guardians as required
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of curriculum changes and educational best practices
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive support system
Skills
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching across relevant subjects
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
- Experience working with children and understanding of diverse learning styles
- Knowledge of special education needs and inclusive teaching strategies is desirable
- Organised with excellent time management skills to plan sessions effectively
