Overview
We are urgently looking for compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our domiciliary care team, supporting individuals in their own homes across Barrhead, Giffnock, Newton Mearns, and the wider East Renfrewshire area.
This role involves providing person-centred care and support to help individuals maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life within the community.
Due to the nature of this role, a UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
We offer paid mileage and annual leave on a pro-rata basis, alongside ongoing support and training.

Duties
- Provide personal care in a respectful and dignified manner
- Support with medication in line with care plans
- Assist with meal preparation and nutrition
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Support with daily living tasks and household duties
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records
- Follow care plans and risk assessments
- Travel between service users’ homes within the community
- Report any concerns regarding service users’ wellbeing promptly
Qualifications & Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence (required)
- Access to your own vehicle (required)
- Right to work in the UK
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A caring, patient, and reliable nature
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential (training provided)
