Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional DPD Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering parcels efficiently and safely to customers within designated areas.
Duties
- Operate van, following all traffic laws and safety regulation
- Collect and load parcels from warehouse into van for route
- Deliver parcels timely, ensuring correct receipt of items
- Maintaining delivery records, signatures or proof of delivery as required
- Communication with customers regarding delivery schedule or issues if required
- Ensure van maintenance, reporting concerns promptly
- Follow company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Experience as delivery driver, preferably within warehouse environment
- Valid driver's licence with clean driving record
- Safe and efficient commercial driving skills
- Organisational skills to manage routes and timely deliveries
- Warehouse experience advantageous, but not essential
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating reliability anf punctuality
Important
Depot Location: DPD Reading
Pay: £1 per drop - on average 100 to 150 drops per day
Schedule: Full-time - 5 days a week
Employment: Self-employed - responsible for own tax submissions and payment
Pay: £550.00-£650.00 per week
