Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised finance professional to provide high-quality accounting, taxation, audit and business advisory services to a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, companies, partnerships and individuals, ensuring compliance with professional standards and firm procedures whilst delivering excellent client service
Duties
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with UK accounting principles and FRS 102
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations and best practices.
- Advising clients on VAT issues and HMRC requirements
- Preparation and review of corporation tax and personal tax computations and returns
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, IRIS or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of UK accounting principles,
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with various cliets and staff.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
