Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the care home environment, ensuring that all areas are tidy, organised, and welcoming. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Clean and sanitise residents' bedrooms and communal areas.
- Dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored correctly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the manager.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure high standards of hygiene.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects as required.
Experience
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- A positive attitude towards work and a commitment to providing excellent service.
