Hours: 4 on / 4 off, Nights
Shift: 6:00pm – 6:00am
Contract: Permanent
With 4h overtime per week = ~£63,500 OTE
With 8h overtime per week = ~£70,000 OTE
Must hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (NVQ / City & Guilds / IMI).
Overview
We're looking for experienced HGV Technicians to join a busy commercial vehicle workshop in Trafford Park. This is a top opportunity for a skilled HGV Technician seeking a 4 on / 4 off night shift pattern, offering real earning power and an excellent work-life balance for a dedicated HGV Technician.
Key Responsibilities
- As an HGV Technician, you will carry out routine servicing, repairs, and inspections on HGVs to DVSA standards.
- Diagnose and rectify faults using modern diagnostic equipment as part of your role as an HGV Technician.
- Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and ensure all work meets manufacturer and company procedures.
- Complete accurate job cards and paperwork promptly and professionally.
What You’ll Need
- Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI).
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician in a commercial workshop.
- Strong ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
- Full UK driving licence (HGV licence is desirable).
