Role Overview:
As a Private Client Solicitor, you will manage a varied caseload of private client matters, providing comprehensive legal advice on wills, probate, estate administration, inheritance tax, and trusts. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage your own caseload of private client matters, including wills, probate, and estate administration.
- Advise clients on creating trusts, inheritance tax planning, and powers of attorney.
- Draft and review wills, trusts, and other related documents.
- Guide clients through the estate administration and probate processes.
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and third parties to ensure smooth estate administration.
- Oversee all aspects of estate administration, from the grant of probate to final distribution.
- Ensure compliance with legal and tax requirements relating to private client matters.
- Maintain accurate records and provide outstanding service to clients.
Requirements:
- Private Client Solicitor or Fee Earner with significant experience in private client law, including wills, probate, estate planning, and trust matters.
- Solid experience in wills, probate, estate planning, and trust law.
- Exceptional communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritise tasks effectively.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Knowledge of relevant tax and legal requirements in private client matters.
- A team player with a proactive, client-focused approach.
