Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in a residential care home setting, assisted living. This leadership role requires a proactive individual with strong team management skills, capable of ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements. The Registered Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering a compassionate environment for residents and supporting staff development.
Duties
- Lead and supervise multidisciplinary teams, carers, and administrative personnel, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality residents care across various settings such as home care.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring compliance with legal and organisational standards.
- Manage casework involving medication administration.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe environment for residents and staff alike.
- Coordinate staff training programmes focusing on areas such, working with individuals with mobility .
- Monitor operational budgets, resource allocation, and service quality metrics to optimise efficiency.
- Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, regulatory bodies, and external agencies to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
- Lead quality assurance initiatives and participate in audits to maintain accreditation standards.
Skills
- Proven experience in senior care environments such as assisted living facilities or nursing homes.
- Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or management experience within healthcare settings.
- Competence in case management alongside medical knowledge including anatomy, medication administration.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Compassionate approach to residents care coupled with excellent communication skills for liaising with residents' families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances within a dynamic healthcare environment while ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation. Pay: £30,300.67-£56,972.77 per year
