We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team, with long term work available for the right person. This role involves supporting various operational tasks across our site, ensuring smooth workflow and maintaining a safe and clean working environment. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a dynamic team. Previous experience essential.
Duties
- Assisting with loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Preparing work areas by clearing debris and setting up necessary tools and supplies
- Supporting tradespeople and other team members with their tasks
- Moving materials around the site using appropriate manual handling techniques
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the work environment
- Following health and safety protocols at all times
- Reporting any hazards or issues to supervisors promptly
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as required
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a labour environment
- Previous labouring experience is desirable but not mandatory
- A valid work permit or right to work in the UK is essential
- A proactive attitude, punctuality, and reliability are highly valued
