Duties

- Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations and upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that all items are presented beautifully and meet food safety standards.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, striving to resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide accurate information to guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
- Strong guest services skills, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak service times.
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations to ensure compliance within the kitchen environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated during quieter periods.
